01 — B2B PROSPECTING

B2B prospecting without manual research

intendly takes over the research for your new business acquisition: we track public signals, verify the need context and deliver ready-to-use B2B opportunities to your sales team every week — with the trigger, the responsible role and a concrete conversation entry point.

02 — DEFINITION

What B2B prospecting means at intendly

Classic B2B prospecting means pulling company lists, enriching contacts, searching for contact persons and hoping. At intendly, prospecting does not start with the list but with the trigger. We are not a database you have to operate yourself, but a service whose result is a readable document: the Opportunity Brief.

Trigger-based instead of list-based

We do not look for companies that might match your profile. We look for companies where a traceable trigger for your offer is currently visible.

Research instead of software

No tool, no login, no onboarding project. You get the result of the research, not the interface for it.

Justified instead of just scored

Every opportunity carries an intent status and a written reason why the signal is relevant for your offer. Without a reason there is no opportunity.

Public sources only

We use publicly available information and prepare it in a GDPR-compliant way. Responsible roles are named at company level.

03 — THE PROBLEM

Company lists do not give you a current trigger

Most sales teams do not have a data problem, they have a trigger problem. Addresses exist, filters are set, sequences are running. What is missing is the reason for the call — today, at this company.

  • A lead database tells you who exists, not who is currently developing a need.
  • Prospecting costs a massive amount of time, and buyers have had enough of “random” outreach.
  • Firmographic filters are static: industry and headcount rarely change, needs change constantly.
  • In practice, research is the first thing dropped when the team is under pipeline pressure.
  • Without a trigger every first touch sounds the same — and gets treated accordingly.

04 — THE SOLUTION

Signal → relevance → action

We reverse the order. The starting point is not the list but the signal. The signal becomes relevance, and relevance becomes a concrete action for your sales team.

01Signal

Something changes visibly

Public changes: job postings, location and growth announcements, technology shifts, compliance events, funding and tender notices, press coverage and website changes.

02Relevance

We check the link to your offer

A signal alone is noise. We assess whether it fits your target customer profile and your solution, and document the reasoning in the opportunity score.

03Action

Your sales team can start right away

You receive the company, the trigger, the responsible role and a conversation entry point built on that specific trigger — channel-neutral for phone, email or LinkedIn.

05 — THE PROCESS

Four steps from your target customer to the finished brief

The process is the same for every client. What differs is your target customer profile and which signals actually count for your offer.

  1. 01

    Define target customers

During setup we define your target customer profile together: industries, size, region, exclusion criteria and which triggers signal a real need for your offer.

  2. 02

    Track public signals

We continuously monitor publicly available sources and filter out the changes that indicate a current need — instead of pulling a list once a quarter.

  3. 03

    Justify the opportunity score

Every opportunity gets an intent status and a written reason: which signal, how recent, how well it matches your profile. Traceable instead of a black-box score.

  4. 04

    Deliver the finished Opportunity Brief

Weekly by email: company, trigger, context, responsible role and conversation entry point. Readable, immediately actionable, no tool and no follow-up research.

Signal

Information security ownership newly filled with an OT focus, plus indications of a NIS2-readiness initiative.

Company careers page · 04 Aug · directly evidenced

Why relevant now

New ownership plus regulatory pressure means: make critical OT assets visible and prioritise measures.

Responsible role

Head of information security / OT security, secondary CIO

Conversation starter

“You are rebuilding information security with an OT focus — usually the bottleneck is prioritising critical assets, not the standard itself.”

In the real brief, each opportunity is followed by the score rationale, the source excerpt and a ready-to-use first message for the right channel.

Exclusive for you. New every week.

What's additionally in the real brief

The brief you receive is tailored to your company and additionally contains per opportunity:

  • How the score was created, with source and date per signal
  • Background information as snippet
  • Justification of demand, tailored and top-of-mind for your dream client
  • Responsible role with area of responsibility (name and function in Exclusive model)
  • Concrete arguments matching your offering
  • Ready-to-use initial message for possible channels
High Intent

Current signal with a direct link to your offer.

Medium Intent

Relevant context, timing still open.

Low Intent

Worth watching, but no trigger for outreach right now.

Sample data for illustration. No real company data and no customer reference.

07 — COMPARISON

Classic lead database vs. intendly

Both have their place. The difference is who does the research work and whether the result is a trigger or just an address.

08 — WHO IT IS FOR

For teams that want to sell instead of research

intendly is built for companies that have a working sales team but no dedicated RevOps or research team to supply the trigger.

Good fit

  • B2B sales teams that need a predictable flow of qualified triggers
  • SMEs without their own RevOps or sales research team
  • Agencies and consultancies with an offer that needs explaining
  • Service providers with a clearly defined target group, e.g. IT security, MSPs or industry-specific services
  • Teams already doing outbound but struggling with the relevance of the first touch

Not a fit

  • Purely B2C business
  • Mass outbound where only address volume counts
  • Looking for a self-service tool with a login instead of a service
